Molech was a Caananite god that Israel ended up following for some time. According to Jewish texts, Molech was an idol made of brass that had his arms out in front of him (bent at the elbows). When someone "passed their child through the fires of Molech" they would take their child and place it on the arms of the idol. The priest of Molech would then stir up the fire in the lower parts of the idol causing it to rise up and consume the child. While this was going on, the priest would have drums played loudly so that the parents wouldn't hear their child dying. Is this not a picture of abortion in America? Do we not sacrifice our children in the name of "convenience" or "the inability to give them a good life". We are murderers plain and simple...
