Many today claim that the earth is billions of years old and that life evolved from non-living matter (?) to single cells and on up in increasing complexity to man. There are many problems with this view, and yet many Christians still hold to it. The evolutionary time scale is not shown in the Bible. A plain reading of Genesis 1(without trying to add man's ideas into it) shows that God made the universe and everything in it in six 24 hour days. In it, we see the earth coming before the sun, plants coming before the sun, and God creating specific kinds of animals with no evolution at all. We see God creating man in His image and likeness. If we take the geneologies as written, they give us a young age for the earth. For evolution to happen, there had to be millions of additions of information to the "simple" cell that started it all, and yet, we don't see that. There is no known process which has been studied (including mutations) that can be shown to add information to a genome. Instead, we see a loss of information. This is completely compatible with a biblical worldview. Of course, when people see you with the products below, you're going to have to explain to them how they came about by chance random processes...
