These Viking/Norse runes are an ancient alphabetic script whose letters possess a meaningful name as well as a signifying sound. Rune casting is an oracle (people in new age or metaphysical arenas are probably most familiar with this exercise) that points to our hidden hopes and fears, and offers advice, if we are willing to listen. Each rune design has its own meaning, and you may find yourself drawn to a particular one without necessarily knowing why at first.
