About the Art of FoxVox
Hi there - I'm Kristen
Fox - nice to meet you! Thanks for browsing in my art shop!
When I was a little kid I used to draw all over everything. I'd doodle on the newspaper, fill coloring books and drawing pads, even drew on the wall once, much to the consternation of my mother. When the pens in the kitchen flower
pot container went missing, they always turned up in my room...
for SOME reason.
When I got older and was working as a
technical writer, I took my 'hobby' a small leap beyond coloring books and newspaper-grade paper and into calligraphy and watercolor and acrylic painting. While working on some
commissioned pieces for some generously enthusiastic coworkers,
I thought, "Hey, I could get used to this!" So that's what I went about doing!

About My Shop
The designs in my
shop run the gamut from photography, painting, and drawing, to digital design and typography, and can involve anything from
still life shots, fantasy/imaginative subjects, Celtic knotwork and art, abstract expressions, to humorous and metaphysical catch phrases.
The online site itself is powered by CafePress. CafePress is a print-on-demand facility in the U.S. that lets artists like myself sell our art on cool products like t-shirts, cards, etc. without having to create hundreds of each item and each design and each size upfront. "In stock" means that the raw materials are in stock, like blank t-shirts, and CafePress can
then print my design on that t-shirt and send it off to the customer within a few days. Because they handle the production, payment, and shipping for orders, any questions about your order are handled by them through their customer service line at 1-877-809-1659, although I would also invite you to email me with any thoughts you might have regarding my designs.
The exception to the 'Cafepress' rule here is that I have my Archival Quality Fine Art Prints (framed or unframed) printed via the Imagekind site instead of through Cafepress, since Fine Art is what Imagekind does! They offer a dizzying array of sizes, and paper and frame choices, so that you can get exactly the right work of art for your wall.
Thanks for stopping by and please enjoy your time here!
