I'd never painted veggies until a couple of years ago when I signed up to have a booth at the Loomis, CA "Eggplant Festival". This annual event is like a big block party on the main street in Loomis. Vendors, music and of course, all things eggplant! I set up a booth to showcase my pet portraits, but I had to get in the spirit of things and try my hand at painting veggies. The original paintings were created in watercolor on Yupo.
