Anne Marie is a very versatile performer who is on FoxFire Records, Nashville, TN. Anne Marie became part of the Nashville family, in June, 1993.
This Album took over a year to create. Using top of the line musicians, and (Dolly Parton's back up singers ) Jason Hawkins produces an elaborate bouquet of songs for Anne Marie. At this point (says Anne Marie) Jason and I were still testing the waters. He wasnt sure what style my voice was. It is fine to say I have a touch of: Patsy Cline, Karen Carpenter, Gloria Estefan, Reba McIntire, Mary Chapin Carpenter. But, I needed to find "MY" nitch. I am very pleased and honored to have done this 1st album, and now that I am working on future releases, and have developed my own style, and feeling for performing songs, it feels good to say that I now sound like "Anne Marie".
