AnimalWorks is a LOW COST SPAY AND NEUTER Organization and the only NO KILL Animal Shelter in Blount County. It is an organization that is committed to promoting and providing humane care and treatment of animals and also to reducing the number of homeless pets by providing low cost spay and neuter services throughout our community and nearby communities. Since September, 2001 AnimalWorks has spayed and neutered over 6000 animals and found loving homes for over 4,500.

Our Vision Statement is “That all animals are entitled to live their lives free from needless pain or suffering at the hands of humankind. That the quality of life for animals under human stewardship—that is their ability to pursue and satisfy behavioral as well as physical needs—is as important as the animals’ basic survival.”
