Synopsis:
In 2007 I went to Cuba for a three-month study abroad program through NYU. While working as a teaching assistant for the documentary film class I was photographing the whole trip, soon afterward creating this book. It is a collection of over one hundred black and white photographs as well as selected text from a personal blog I was keeping. The book is purposefully non-political and leaves all imagery of Cuban life to the interpretation of the reader. It's just a document of my trip as I experienced it.
