Rough Riders by Susan Stone Salas, oil on canvas board, created in 2007. This painting has been modified from it's original color version to have an antique appearance, memorializing the Rough Riders annual reunion which took place in Las Vegas New Mexico. Although the last lone survivor of the Spanish Cuban war died years ago, a local biker club commemorates the annual reunion of the Rough Riders with a bike run every last week-end in July, in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
