SPAC Telescope Optical Lab

Welcome to the St. Petersburg Astronomy Club's (SPAC) Optial Lab logo items. We grind and polish telescope optics and hand-make exceptional personal telescopes from 6-20" (so far). The logo represents the tile tool and a mirror on top being ground. The image in the back is of the robotic Foulcault tester used to check the quality of the mirror during the final polishing steps. The Optical lab has completed more that 70 mirrors in the past 9 years. It's about time we have a T-shirt!
