Welcome to Arizona Army National Guard Merchandise
Below this text are Army National Guard caps, Army National Guard cups, Army National Guard shirts, and other Army National Guard merchandise for Arizona Army National Guard members. Arizona Army National Guard retirees, Arizona Army National Guard veterans, and Arizona Army National Guard families.
The Arizona Army National Guard maintains 45 armories, and is present in 22 communities. The major units of the Arizona Army National Guard are State Area Command, 98th Troop Command, 385th Aviation Regiment, and the 153rd Field Artillery Brigade.
The Department manages 19909 acres of state land and 39245 acres of federal land. There are 12 training sites throughout the state for use by the Air and Army National Guard. The largest of these sites is Camp Navajo, near Flagstaff, with the Florence Military Reservation being the second largest. Some other sites include the Buckeye Preserve, Saguaro Lake area and Rittenhouse Training area.
The majority of the Arizona Army National Guard units complete their Annual Training at locations within Arizona, notably Camp Navajo or Ft. Huachuca, though several units participate in training elsewhere within the U.S. and some overseas locations.
The Arizona Army National Guard is comprised of nearly 4,000 men and women who are dedicated to protecting and defending the interests of our communities, our state and our nation. During FY99, the AZARNG pursued continuous quality improvement and was recognized in the Army Community of Excellence Program.
The AZARNG served in every major conflict and deployed to worldwide contingency operations in FY99. Both the Tucson-based 852nd Rear Area Operations Center and the Phoenix-based 416th Air Traffic Service Company deployed to the Balkan region in response to ongoing operations. The 416th was deployed to Bosnia and the 852nd deployed to Macedonia.
