I am Linthicum

Treasure the Heritage of Linthicum Heights Maryland Helen and Charles Linthicum did much to put Linthicum Heights on the map. Charles was a congressional representative who introduced the legislation, which made the Star Spangled Banner the National Anthem. He also introduced the first bill onto the floor of the House of Representatives, designed to repeal prohibition. Both contributed greatly to the history of Linthicum heights. When you listen to the bells of the Methodist church or the Grey stone church you will be hearing the bells that they gave to our community. Charles was instrumental in planning our community. Helen was an important figure in the social life of Maryland and Washington D.C. who helped and aided many worthy causes. They helped to save Fort McHenry and the Ship the Constellation. Funds from the sale of these items will assist in research into the Linthicums, help cover the costs of publication and aid in the celebration of their lives. Join us to build a sense of civic heritage and unity. I thank you in advance for your kind assistance. You may read more about the Linthicums here:
