Synopsis

In "The Catastrophe", Palestinian peace activist, columnist, author and standup comedian Ray Hanania examines how the fanatic secular Arab left and the extremist Islamic right took the disaster brought on by the creation of Israel, and, using rejection and violence, hijacked the just Palestinian cause and prevented statehood. Ray Hanania is the recipient of three Society of Professional Journalism "Lisagor Awards" for column writing and was named the "Best Ethnic American Columnist" by the New America Media in Nov. 2006.
