Edgar the fish

This is a little goldfish I met in Salt Lake City, Utah. The hotel I stayed in had goldfish bowls in every room, which I thought was kind of crappy because who knows how they are treated by guests and staff. I'm sure the hotel's attitude is that they are like decorations, totally disposable. Anyway, that kind of pissed me off. Since I was there for work I was away from my pets so having the goldfish in the room at least gave me someone to talk to. Since I knew I'd never see him again I figured I'd snap some photos of him. I painted this when I got home.
