Cancer inspired many of Regina Brett’s 50 Life Lessons:

When Regina turned 50 in 2006, she added five more lessons. Regina had breast cancer in 1998. Being bald was one of the hardest parts of her cancer journey. She helped create HairPeace Wig Salon at The Gathering Place so other survivors would have a comfortable, nurturing place to get wigs and not worry about the cost. The mission of The Gathering Place is to support, educate and empower individuals and families touched by cancer through programs and services, all provided for free.
