Willys-Overland and Ford built vehicles for the military during WW2. WO contracted to supply the MB and Ford was selected to supply the same vehicle which was the GPW. These vehicles were known as blitz buggies, peeps and finally...jeeps. (While Jeep is a trademark of DaimlerChrysler, jeep was used as a noun to describe the 1/4-ton vehicles used by the US military during WW2). Our designs are based on the WW2 jeep, Army Jill, Joe Dope, 1942 Ford GPW and other items of interest.
