Second Line for NOLA

Support Hurricane Katrina relief efforts for New Orleans and the Gulf Coast.

UPDATE: As of Feb. 1, 2006, the money I receive from the sales of these items (for example, $5 for most shirt types) will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.

For non-New Orleanians, a "second line" is an informal parade of dancing, singing, and following musicians through the city streets. The original second line clubs were benevolent associations (aka Social Aide and Pleasure Clubs) formed in the late 19th century to assist the African-American community with loans, insurance, etc.

I've donated $300 in profits so far to the Red Cross Hurricane Katrina fund. In addition, my then-employer matched the donation with a $300 donation to the Red Cross disaster relief fund.
