These products have an image of my painting "Butterfly" that is a 77 x 77" oil on canvas. In August of 2000, it was removed from an exhibition held at the Illinois State Fair after the director of the Department of Agriculture deemed that it was too graphic for family audiences. Since this incident, I have been working to try to lessen censorship from happening to other artists. These products celebrate an artist's right to create art from the heart. 20% of profits from these items will be given to the National Coalition Against Censorship, the Chicago Artists' Coalition and the Chicago-based Lawyers for the Creative Arts to help them continue the wonderful work they are doing protecting the rights of artists and providing the services they require.
